What were your favorites this month?
I read a book about the ‘subterranean’ underclass in East Leeds, UK, called ‘Urban Grimshaw and the Shed Crew’ by Bernard Hare. It is shocking stuff – a gang of children taking hard drugs, having sex and living in different ‘safe houses’, not least because it is all true. Set in 1996-1998.
