State of the TBR Pile: August 2020

I have to be honest: I was just throwing books on my pile, but when I went to take a picture, I counted them up. It was 6 books by white people, two by POC. And so I swapped books out. Now it’s balanced: 4 and 4. I don’t know how much of a difference it makes, but at least I’m keeping to my commitment to half of by books being by non-white authors.

If You Could Be Mine by Sara Farizan
Hood Feminism by Mikki Kendall
We are Not From Here by Jenny Torres Sanchez
Dear Universe by Florence Gonsalves
Juliet Takes a Breath by Gabby Rivera
Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes
Igniting Darkness by Robin LaFevers
A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor by Hank Green
