Finally, back to normal. We went, we got all sorts of books, picked up holds (addressed the problem of a lost book — oops!), went to storytime, and I even got my prize for finishing the local reading challenge (a very nice mug full of all sorts of goodies). Happy day!

I really enjoyed The Demon's Lexicon. I'd have put The Catcher in the Rye in with the other YA books, though. That was OK when I read it — as a kid I classed it with the Paul Zindel type books. As an adult I don't want to go back yet; not until my sons are long past teen years.

Beth — I'd probably put Catcher in the Rye with YA fiction, too, but I categorize books the way the library does, and it's an adult book according to them.

I never read Catcher in the Rye in high school. And I really want to read it, but since the author has died, there's been an explosion of people checking out his books at the library. Hope you enjoy it and your other reads.
