Content: There is a lot of murder (obviously), but nothing graphic and some swearing, including multiple f-bombs. It’s in the Mystery section of the bookstore.

Our intrepid crew of Steve, Rosie, and Amy are back – this time they are hired by Vern Blackwell, a purveyor of not-quite illegal drugs – “vitamins” (you have to pronounce it like the British – VIT-amins) mostly – whose bodyguard turned up dead. This catapults them into an underground world, full of twists and turns, and adventures all over the globe. Which is fine with Amy; not so much so with Steve. And Rosie is just trying to sell her new book (the numbers are down).

Is this a deep book? No. But was it entertaining? Yes. Absolutely. It helps that Walker can do an incredibly American accent, that the characters are engaging, and that Osman knows how to plot a book. I am thoroughly enjoying this series, and here’s hoping they get to solve even more murders.
