State of the TBR Pile: August 2014

It’s August. And I have a ton of stuff I’m super excited to read:

Bitterblue, by Kristin Cashore (I reread Graceling and Fire, why not this one?)
The Vacationers, by Emma Straub (It’s getting good buzz and I love the cover.)
The Whispering Skull, by Jonathan Stroud (LOCKWOOD!)
Isla and the Happily Ever After, by Stephanie Perkins (BECAUSE ISLA.)
Just Call My Name, by Holly Goldberg Sloan (Follow up to I’ll Be There)
The Night Gardener, by Jonathan Auxier
The Life and Times of Benny Alvarez, by Peter Johnson
Chasing Before, by Lenore Applehans (She brought it into the store one day and gave it to me. I should read it…)
The Misadventures of the Family Fletcher, by Dana Alison Levy
The Witch’s Boy, by Kelly Barnhill
The Book of Life, by Deborah Harkness (I should finish this trilogy out.)
The Calligrapher’s Daughter, by Eugenia Kim

What’s on your pile?

  1. So jealous of The Whispering Skull, I loved the first, can't wait to hear what you think 🙂 I have A World Without Princes and Harriet The Spy on my TBR. I've been making my way through The Cabinet of Curiosities, but it's been slow going.
