The girls were amazed: it’s a whole block, there are that many kids books? How are we going to choose??

Powell's! Life just hasn't been lived until you've been. It is a book lovers dream come true. When I visited I felt like I could spend a week there and still not see even half of what interested me.

There are no better souvenirs than books!! You lucky ducky you!! My challenge is not reading them as we journey. I don't want to miss any sites along the way! Not sure everyone else is so torn though….

I love Powell's. I've lived in Portland for four years and have taken full advantage of living so near Powell's Books. It's one of the sites we go to every time we have family in town.
