OCOC Giveaway: All about Jane

Another three-fer this week, the theme is some sort of connection to Jane Austen…

Becky liked it, as did Bookfool. (And, to be completely honest, so did I.) You know you want a chance to read this, too.
The review that made me want the book, and the place where I won it from. Just passing along the love…

There’s another giveaway for this book; here’s another chance to enjoy a book with one of the best titles. (It’s a good book, too…)
Leave me a comment with which book you’d like to be entered in the drawing for (yes, it can be for one, two, or all three). Also, if you feel so inclined, with the name of a “sequel” or modernization or other book connected to Jane Austen that you’ve really liked. Like always, the drawing is open to both US/Canada and international readers, and we’ll pick a name out of the bowl Friday morning at 8 a.m., CDT.

  1. I would love to be entered for all three. I have read everything by Austen, but no modernizations. I just don’t know where to start! So maybe one of these would be perfect. Thanks, saz AT chainreader DOT com

  2. The Darcy’s and Bingley’s has been on my list for awhile and would love to read it. Have you read the Pamela Aidan books? They tell Pride and Prejudice from Mr. Darcy’s perspective. (I reviewed the first book on my blog, although my emotional reaction to the novel might outweigh its actual value!) I’ve actually read a bunch of sequels, and some I’ve liked, and others not so much. Amanda Grange’s retellings through diaries for each male hero is kind of a cute idea. Some move slower than others though. If I think of more, I’ll share…mjmbecky@gmail.com

  3. I'd love to be entered to win JANE AUSTEN RUINED MY LIFE. My favorite sequel is The Darcys & The Bingleys. Ok, so it's the only Austen sequel I've read but still it's a great one!

  6. I was wondering if it's okay if I enter, since I won a book a few weeks back from you. If I'm allowed, I'd love to win Jane Austen Ruined My Life.As for modernization, the new Pride & Prejudice with zombies sounds like a fun read.~ Popin

They all look good and I love Jane Austen remakes.I really liked AUSTENLAND (funny and cute) and also MR DARCY TAKES A WIFE (very in keeping with Austen's tone but much much steamier!). and I'm excited about Pride & Prejudice & Zombies. 🙂Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
