2008 Challenge #3: Once Upon a Time II

Aside from a little flub with The Other Boleyn Girl, I really enjoyed my list this year. I think that was a change from last year….

I read:

American Gods by Neil Gaiman
Into the Wild, by Sarah Beth Durst
The Crystal Cave, The Hollow Hills, The Last Enchantment, by Mary Stewart
Battle of the Labyrinth, Rick Riordan

I can’t believe I managed 7 books for this challenge. But then, I love fantasy and all things fairie… so maybe I shouldn’t be surprised.

  1. I am so glad that you enjoyed almost all of your selections this year and that you went above and beyond in completing the challenge. Nicely done! I’m also thrilled to know that you’ll be on board for Once Upon a Time III. 3 is an interesting number in fairy tales, mythology, folklore, and fantasy. I may have to work on some very special things to tie into that for next year and for this year’s R.I.P. III Challenge in September.
