Of being a book blogger/reviewer, is opening up your email inbox and having a nice letter from an author saying how much they appreciated your review. Makes a person feel good.
All this is a long roundabout way of saying that the December review issue of Estella is up. It’s a small issue (I’m 1/3 of the contributors and wrote 1/4 of the reviews), but I know that there are a couple of the books that I’m now putting on my TBR list…
As for my contribution (and part of the reason why I was in YA land all last week), I read and reviewed a good book, Lily Dale, and a great book, Thirteen Reasons Why.
Go and read (and not just my stuff), when you get the time. 🙂
Thirteen Reasons looks interesting with the dual narratives. I’ll add that to my growing list. Good reviews. How do you find time to keep up with all of your reading and writing? I thought I was a pretty big reader but after joining the Nook I am reconsidering that definition of myself.

Lucia — I can read “so much” (I don’t read nearly as much as some) because more than half are middle-grade and YA fiction, which really don’t (usually) take as long to read. That, and I hardly watch TV at all. Oh, and I let my little girls watch a movie in the middle of the day (they don’t nap) so I can get reading and blogging done. For me it’s not “finding time”, it’s “making time”. 🙂 I’m glad you joined up at the nook, though. You add a valuable perspective. (Though, I suppose, as do we all!)
