State of the TBR Pile: November 2016

I just now realized that I didn’t do a TBR Pile last month. Wow. September and October really did get away from me. The pile hasn’t changed a whole lot in the past month or two, mostly because I haven’t had the time to read (and lately haven’t felt a lot like reading either). But, I’m still interested in all of these, so maybe I’ll actually get to them before the end of the year (which is coming much faster than I am comfortable with!).

  1. I know! The year is just flying by. I was thinking about the kitten’s turning 3 months old in a week, and then I was like omg, then it is like a little more than a month until Christmas. Not prepared for that thought process. lol

  2. I finally deaccessioned Jacob Have I Loved because no one would read it. It’s very dated. High schoolers might be able to plow through it, but not my middle school crowd. Here’s to more reading for you soon.

I’m not surprised…. My not-quite-13-year-old can’t get through The Blue Sword, much to my dismay. It’s just not fast paced enough for her. Jacob Have I Loved has got to be a lot of the same.
